Tournament Procedures & Rules

Air Pods are Not allowed in tournament golf. If a junior can’t play without them then they can not play in TTjGT
Cell phones are Not part of tournament golf
▸ AGE GROUP is determined by age as of July 1st of that summer. A player can play up into older age groups if desired but once they do so they have to stay in that age group.
▸ Season Registration - Required - Opens May 1st
Pay Annual Registration Fee
$30 for TTUSD Students
$60 for Non-TTUSD
▸ Juniors still MUST register for each tournament. The Season Registration does NOT enter players for each tournament - Old Greenwood Registration will open Monday May 11th
▸ Participants can only register for one tournament at a time - After Annual registration
▸ Registration for tournaments will be posted the day after the proceeding tournament’s day of play.
▸ Tee times will be available at Noon the day before the event.
▸ Players Must Play in a minimum of one regular season tournament to play in the Tour Championship at Gray's Crossing.
▸ If registration becomes too large for Courses to handle, full time Truckee Tahoe School District students have first priority for playing spots.

▸ Withdrawals must be done before entry deadline for entry fee to be refunded. No-shows will NOT have entry fee returned.
▸ Players are responsible for withdrawing by contacting Marc at TruckeeTahoeJGT@gmail.com
No-Show are Not acceptable. If a player No-Shows they are ineligible for the next tournament
▸ Two no-shows and a player is ineligible for future TTjGT tournaments.

Age Groups
A players age is determined by age as of July 1, 2025.

Girls:
8 - 10 9 holes
11-13 9 holes
14-18 9/18 holes TBD each event
Boys:
8 - 10 9 holes
11-12 9 holes
13-14 9/18 holes-TBD for each event
15-18 18 holes normally

Player Responsibility to be ON 1st Tee at their assigned tee time. TTJGT recommends being there at least 5 minutes early. It is a 2-Stroke Penalty - USGA Rules - if a player arrives after tee time. No Warnings are Given.
Tee times will generally start approximately between 1:00pm and 4:00 PM
Older kids will go off first and we will work backwards.

Tee Times
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY to be on their assigned tee, usually the 1st tee, at their tee time - Players not on time receive per Rule 5.3a the USGA General Penalty - 2 strokes
Tee times will be posted by Noon the Day Before each tournament.

Registration for Tahoe Donner 2026 Season
▸ Each participant must register / sign up / enter via this online registration for each tournament when the registration window opens.
▸ Registration deadline is the 6pm the Sunday prior to tournament.
▸ The online Registration will go live one day after the previous tournament has ended.

Pay Tournament Entry Fee
▸ Each Tournament is $20 due at time of registration.
No Shows Still Responsible for Payment

Step 4
Show up early, Play Golf & Have Fun
▸ Air Pods / Ear Pods Are Not Allowed in Tournament Golf - If your junior can not play with out them then they can not play in TTjGT

Player responsibility be on the 1st tee five (5) minutes ahead of their assigned tee time
▸ ONE Practice Swing during play
▸ Repair ONE Ball mark on Every Green
Replace divots
▸ Have fun and share some high fives
Shake hands with hats off at the end of play thanking each other for a great day at the end of every round
